About the villa
Cushioned in the calm of a tree-cloaked hillside, and gazing across a beautiful bay to the mainland beyond, from the outside this delightful house looks traditionally Corfiot, compact, colour-washed and country style. So the airy and arty interiors come as a surprise. Very contemporary and furnished with flair, the rooms are spacious and uncluttered, their cool-toned décor enhanced with oriental rugs and striking artworks. The spacious sitting room has high ceilings and doors to a covered veranda which hems the poolside terrace, where steamer chairs are strategically placed around the infinity pool. The dining room and two of the bedrooms also open on to the poolside, while the villa’s lower ground floor is designed as a generous guest suite, with a bedroom furnished for twin or double use, and a lovely little sitting room, with cushioned cane sofas and a window wall, opening on to a tree shaded terrace. A rough path, overgrown in places, leads you to a quiet beach and boat mooring (and jetty for 2019) whilst a larger beach and tavernas at Avlaki are a ten minute walk away.
"Vinita was ideal for our multi-generation holiday. The house is spacious and stylish and outdoors there was room for everyone, whether swimming, sunbathing, dining or just relaxing on sofas. The short walk to the sea was a hit with the youngsters too."

Capital of Corfu’s north-east, Kassiopi is a thriving harbour and resort. Within a ring of souvenir and beach shops, it has a heart of gold: a cleanly-paved harbour, well-tended gardens, benches for the weary, and smart shops, restaurants, and cafés. Pleasure craft and cruise boats jostle for mooring space with small trawlers. Canons point out to sea, their threat long faded, against a backdrop of stylish Kassiopi villas and apartments rising in terraces from the harbour. A holiday in the hamlet of Kelia lies on the hillside above, within walking distance of the town.
