About the villa

With young palms screening its poolside lawns, a barbecue and shaded terrace for al fresco meals, and probably the best views on the private estate from its elevated setting on the steep hillside above the sea, this airy villa is ideal for a holiday of pure relaxation.  Just 450 metres from the lovely cove on Paliolinos bay, a walk downhill from the property, and 2km from the sands and village tavernas of Spartia, its peaceful country setting is reflected in comfortably casual décor, uncluttered but sprinkled with personal touches and character features in local stone.

Its social space is open-plan, incorporating a galley kitchen, dining and sitting areas, where built-in sofas are piled with cushions in cheerful sunshine colours. The room opens out to the poolside terrace, as does the ground floor bedroom, while the master double on the first floor looks out to sea from its own small balcony. With WiFi and air conditioning throughout, Amphitrite is an excellent choice for a family or two couples, and shares the same coastal enclave as sister-villas Arethusa and Nereus.  It could be booked together with either (or both) for larger groups of family or friends.
