About the villa

Modern design can sometimes seem smart but soulless; but Villa Las is beautiful proof that ‘contemporary’ can include character. With décor and furnishings in creamy white and soft earth tones, the villa’s largely uncluttered interiors form the perfect frame for eclectic highlights, from exposed stone walls to topical art, comical cushions on classic chairs, and a chandelier, dripping with red glass baubles, in the big bathroom of the master suite. The villa has a chic and spacious sitting room, with a high timbered ceiling, huge sliding doors to the terrace, and access through an archway to the very stylish kitchen.

Individually designed and all with air conditioning, the three ground floor bedrooms each have an en suite shower room, and the master double is privately positioned on the upper level, with its own balcony facing the fabulous views. Outside, a big, broad and beautifully furnished terrace encompasses a sheltered dining area, an al fresco sitting room in a curtained pergola, and the inviting infinity pool; all looking out to the blue of the bay, over silvered olive groves and the red roofs of Kassiopi, just 1.5km away.

Average weather

Capital of Corfu’s north-east, Kassiopi is a thriving harbour and resort. Within a ring of souvenir and beach shops, it has a heart of gold: a cleanly-paved harbour, well-tended gardens, benches for the weary, and smart shops, restaurants, and cafés. Pleasure craft and cruise boats jostle for mooring space with small trawlers. Canons point out to sea, their threat long faded, against a backdrop of stylish Kassiopi villas and apartments rising in terraces from the harbour. A holiday in the hamlet of Kelia lies on the hillside above, within walking distance of the town.

There is no better way to explore the coastline and discover deserted bays and coves with their translucent water to add to the overall enjoyment of your holiday. Small boats and speedboats can be pre-booked with our UK office prior to departure and we recommend early reservations, especially in July and August, as availability is limited. Smaller size boats can still be hired without a licence which remains unchanged.
