About the villa
In a blissfully countryside setting, surrounded by olive groves, this peacefully positioned villa has been lovingly restored to create a house of character, designed with elegant understatement, and fitted, unobtrusively, with contemporary facilities. The villa has four tastefully furnished bedrooms, three with doors to the garden or a private upper balcony, and all with air conditioning and a stylish en suite bath or shower room. The kitchen, well equipped with modern appliances, opens out to an al fresco dining and barbecue patio, and adjoins a spacious open-plan living / dining room with elegant décor, supremely comfortable sofas and a big open fireplace as afocal point.
A separate snug is equipped with large-screen satellite TV, and, for outdoor idling, a covered terrace is comfortably furnished in cushioned rattan. The villa nestles in gently sloping gardens of just over 1.2 acres of lawns and lavender, mulberry and olive trees, climbing roses and flowering shrubs, with table football on the lawn, and a saline treated swimming pool set in a south facing terrace. Shops and restaurants in atmospheric Valbonne are just 1.7km away, Mougins, Grasse and Saint Paul-de-Vence are within easy reach and the beaches of Antibes and Cannes are a 25km/15 minute drive.
